How affiliate links work
Many of the "check price" buttons on our product pages are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission — a percentage of the sale — as a thank-you for sending you their way. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you'd gone to the retailer directly.
What this funds
Commissions pay for the research behind our rankings: the hours spent comparing specs, reading buying guides, and aggregating golfer reviews. Without them, this site couldn't exist in its current form.
What this doesn't do
- It doesn't change our rankings. A product never moves up the list because it pays a higher commission. Rankings are editorial, based on our research methodology described on our About page.
- It doesn't change what we write. Every product on our lists carries honest pros and cons, including the ones that earn us commissions.
- It doesn't cost you anything. Commissions come out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet.
FTC compliance
This disclosure follows the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials: we clearly disclose our material connection to retailers before you encounter any affiliate link, both in the notice box at the top of our rankings and on this page.
